The brand

Metalica is a Romanian company that started producing stoves and cooking machines in the early ’50s. Their cooking machines were the most popular back then and amongst the first ones to enter the kitchens in the countryside, replacing the old wood stoves that had hobs on top and would enable cooking as well.
We had previously worked with them on the rebranding project.

The requirements

A presentation website was the next step to make after the rebranding process, as pointed in the strategy we’ve been starting our collaboration with.
Metalica needed to update their online presence, not only with a more modern and fresh look but, even more important, with more complex and more clear information regarding their products.

Wireframes - sketching the structure of the website
The main goal of the website was to be a presentation one: provide to both existing and potential, collaborators and clients, detailed information regarding their products: types of products, technical details and the stores that sell their products.

Can’t be current or modern without being responsive

The presentation website we created for Metalica is responsive and works well across many devices - it’s the most important feature we make sure it’s right when it comes to building any website these days, it has become a basis of the web development work we do.

We focused on giving the new user a chance to easily spot the business specific but also did something for the familiarised user.

The main navigation shows, at first sight, the main products the company produces, while the video offers a little more for the user that knows the products, but not the people behind them.
The user journey continues on the Home page with more specific information about the main products categories and ends with a store locator map.

What we liked most when working with erom team was how they went so far with understanding us and our needs that - each time they would deliver something, we knew how it would go beyond our own expectations.
